The Martucci Symphony Orchestra - Salerno Conservatoire
The Martucci Orchestra of Salerno is composed of musicians who have been selected through public auditions and Bachelor’s and Master’s degree students attending the Conservatoire of the same city, whose value is known internationally.
The orchestra was founded with the main aim of developing and perfecting both technical instrumental skills and repertoire performance.
For this reason, the public performances of the ensemble, which comprises a small percentage of new instrumentalists each year, have two purposes: they are a unique educational opportunity for students just starting their professional careers and they are notable cultural events for the community.
The repertoire of the Martucci Orchestra of Salerno consists of opera and symphonic compositions taken from the classical period.
