She studied flute in Rome under the guidance of Angelo Persichilli and graduated with full marks and honours in 1991.
She then proceeded to Vienna where she graduated with highest honours from the Hochschule für Musik.
The course was conducted by Wolfgang Schulz who was her professor for seven years.
She also studied with Conrad Klemm, Raymond Guiot, and Peter-Lukas Graf.
She passed through the national recruitment process based on artistic merit, qualifications as well as written examinations (Ministerial Order, 18.7.1990) to be held eligible for a teaching role in the Italian Conservatoire system.
She also won numerous national and international competitions, as a soloist and in chamber music ensembles.
She has performed with various orchestras and ensembles that include: Istituzione Sinfonica Abruzzese, International Chamber Ensemble, Rome Opera House, and Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia.
She also plays the German flute in early music ensembles.
She has been teaching flute at the 'Giuseppe Martucci' Conservatoire of Salerno since 2010.
